rocky style.

**
i am sure i am not the only one to envision this feeling when running. i have been sticking to my goal of half marathon training and let's just say i'm rocking it. [pun intended...haha]

sometimes, or most times, i am running down the road and passing other runners and i get the urge to high five them...is that normal? it's like, i know i want a high five for not stopping...why wouldn't they? i'm thinking i am just going to start doing it and see what kind of reactions i get. i am sure they will be priceless.

someone smart somewhere said that it takes three weeks to break a habit. or form one. and they were kind of right. i'm six weeks in and i don't hate it. i still want to quit in the middle sometimes, but i don't. because i am that strong. and motivated. i know. you're proud. me too.

i even went to lululemon to buy some pants this weekend. and if you shop there, you know. you know that anything you put on in there makes your booty looks amazeballs. i'd pay $92 any day for a nice booty pant. i know you would too.

RUN:Pace Tight
$92
i skipped the gym and went for an outside run last night. and these pants are as awesome as the salesladies claimed.

who wants to come to VA to run and high five with me??

Running is just so boring to me. However, if people were high-fiving me along the way, maybe I'd like it more! This sounds like the best idea ever. I'd love to see people's reactions, too!

I'm in. I always want to yell at people running while I'm driving too, to encourage them, but I feel like that'd scare them, so I don't. But I feel like I'd take all the encouragement I could get.

Jackie I've actually yelled at someone while they were running. However I see this person every morning running and I guess I kinda watched them progress. One day I when I seen them they were at a slow pace but I stopped for gas which took me 5 mins tops as I started driving I didn't see them while I'll be damned if 2 miles down the road I seen her and I rolled down my window and said GREAT JOB!! She smiled at me! Also Whitney keep up the great work and I say go for it and high five people! Maybe they'll be having one of those days that they need it!I just started doing the couch to 5k and I keep falling off track but I'm determined to see it through.

Ok, I JUST signed up for my first race - the St. Patty's day 8 k. Note, that furthest I have run so far is 4 miles, so I'm a little nervous. We could run it together and high 5 each other a whole lot? And those pants. I've heard amazing things about what they do for your butt, but I think that maybe I just put on pants that made my butt look great I might figure "why run if the pants do it for me?". But still, it's tempting.

SO PROUD! $92 for running pants seem far too ridiculous to me, but the models booty looks finnnnnnnne. if pants can make my butt look like that (considering i don't have one) i might have to splurge.

That ass is awesome. I don't think I can pay $92 for it though.

I don't run, but I love high fives and Rocky is the mascot of my town (Philly).

Ok I'm seriously considering these lulu pants bc every pair of running tights I've bought recently SUCKS they keep falling down and they're not too big, i think it's bc I'm tall (5'10) and the pants are not sitting right on my waist...! Ugh!

Anyways, in January I ran one mile (@ least) every day and this month I'm doing 4x a week. Are u doing the rock and roll half? I want to do another half but it has to be a fun one!!

Very impressed - I agree with the habit breaking/forming rule too. If only I could get myself to workout for more than three days at a time, I might actually get in shape some day. I'm proud of you and I love Lulu pants.
