i’m too sexy…

ha yeah right.

but so do you ever feel like you are sauntering down the street and realize you are actually just walking funny because you worked out and it hurts to breathe? yeah? that is me. yesterday. and today.

come on, don’t get me wrong. it hurts good. but seriously? i feel like an utter idiot walking because i can barely lift my leg to get up the stair. i guess starting with yoga 2 for the first time in 5-8 months was a brilliant bad idea.

and let me vent for a second, last night’s class: just because you are a{n?–sounds weird} yoga teacher, doesn’t mean you have to talk funny. don’t elongate vowels. or go from high to low. just speak normal. if anything, speak more soothing. for instance don’t do this:

moooooooove in TO doooooown dog. NOW fall forrrrward in TO plaaaaank.

i hope you could read it in the way it sounded.

ok, anyway, i am 2 for 2. but i am going to have to find another tuesday class to attend. i can’t do that again.

gonna switch it up a bit for wednesday and participate in leigh ashley’s wee bit wednesday.

btw, you should check out her etsy website. she makes some AMAZING jewelry…{again, why can’t i have a hobby? i am filling this time with yoga for now. but soon…suggestions?}i just bought some cute spring earrings!

{one} if you won a trip to Disneyland/world, who would you take with you?
probably pick up some 5 year old on the side of the road to give them the trip. i have been to both and it doesn’t excite me like it did when i was young. sad?

{two} when was the last time you listened to a CD?
yesterday. so my car doesn’t play ipods and i like listening to cd’s still. is that nerdy??

{three} what spice/seasoning is your favorite?
tony’s chachere’s. omg. it is amazing. i put that on EVERYTHING.

{four} if you were in a band, what kind of music would you play?
well if i could sing, play an instrument, or dance {all that i am terrible at} i would say something similar to dave mathews. he’s a hit. and he just drinks all day.

{five} if you could have personally witnessed one historical event, which one would it be?
invention of sliced bread. so i could really relate to people when they say ‘it is the next best thing to the invention of sliced bread’. i would really have clout then.

{six} if you could go back to school, what would you study?
i think something to use my creativity. maybe graphic design. or advertising.

{seven} if you could go to one sporting event, all expenses paid, which one would you see?
olympics. i could see every sport in one location!

{eight} do you drive an automatic or a manual?
automatic. NO clue how to drive a manual.

{nine} are you comfortable speaking in front of people?
do i love to speak in front of people? no. have i been told i am pretty good at it? yes.

{ten} have you ever experienced an earthquake?
noooo. only on tv. thankgoodness.

  1. Agree with the whole hobby thing. I've thought about making candles, knitting, cross-stitching, or making my own beer. I think I'll go with the latter.

  2. Hahaha, the hurt good is amazing but I agree…I feel like an idiot walking around with eyes glued to my awkward walk. I feel ya but it's worth it!!

I've had a Yoga Instructor like this too! Why? Seriously. I'll never understand.

  4. Oh gosh… I love yoga, but I like doing it in my own home. I remember the first time I went to a class I thought it was beginner, turns out it was like all advanced with balancing on the ball and I was falling all over the place… it's good you are exercising though- you're better than me! 😀

  5. that yoga class sounds intense but that's a good thing i guess! xoxox
